Artist Teruko Wilde Up Close in this video interview as she paints in her Taos, New Mexico studio. Here is a short movie of Teruko Wilde as she worked in her Taos studio. Teruko T. Wilde was born in Nagoya, Japan. She moved to the United States as a teenager and studied at the University of Cincinnati as well as the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio An award-winning artist, Wilde has had numerous one-person and group shows. She first established herself as a prominent pastel and watercolor artist before moving to Taos, New Mexico in 1986. Inspired by the magnificence of the landscape here, she began "Southwest Series" in oils Wilde's development towards simplicity in her paintings has progressed to the point of abstraction. She is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West, the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, the Dictionary of International Biography, Two Thousand Notable American Women and in Woman of the Year.
