A popular theme today is the topic of the Nephilim, fallen angels, and aliens. Many TV programs, movies, books, videos, and role-playing games revolve around extraterrestrial contact, alien abductions, and hybrids. In this book, Dr. Burns looks at Genesis 6. Using the Bible as her main source of reference, she addresses such issues as the sons of God in Genesis 6, fallen angels, giants, DNA, cloning, the Shroud of Turin, hybrids, golems, Nephilim, the watchers, the serpent seed, Cains real father, Eves partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, why Cain is not listed in Christs lineage, why God sent the flood and how the end times will be as the days of Noah. She also has a chapter dealing with the Book of Enoch and how it compares to the Bible.

I never once met a preacher that talked about the book of Enoch or the Nephilim, they talk about it in the way Cathy does. I did not know about the book of Enoch until much later in life and found out on its own, Is the book of Enoch scrpiture? the answer is no, is this the original book written by Enoch? the answer is probably no, that is why it did not make the bible, but certainly it had some foundation with the early Christians and followers of Christ.

Cathy's arguement re:misinterperatation is kinda ridiculous. False prophets can help you misinterperate ANY scripture. LIke their father the Devil, they'll quote it correctly but apply it out of context as Satan did w/Jesus, or miss quote it too as he did w/Eve. How will Cathy explain the presence of giants like Goliath if not from fallen angels (son's of God) mating w/ the daughters of men.. Perhaps Goliath, his 5 brothers, Og, & all the inhabbitants of Canaan all had petuitary gland problems.

@CathyFromPensacola I'm curious, I've tried to read "The Book of Enoch" on the internet several times, it seems to have many pagan ideas like the sun is towed by angels in chariots and the like, so I moved on. So if this book is occultic in nature then where did Jude get Enoch's prophecy, oral tradition or some sort of written text?

The daughters of Men are not the daughters of Cain they are the daughters of all man kind, the sons of God are however fallen angels. the bible makes it clear. The Sons of God can be identified as Angels in Job 1:6, their sin identified in Jude 1:6-11. This IS IN THE BIBLE!

Serpent seed and the belief in the Nephilim are not the same thing. Serpent Seed has to do with sex with the serpent as sex, but why would the punishment placed on Eve have to do with Child bearing if there had been no replication or child birth up to that point. The belief that the Nephilim are the children of fallen angels has to do with genesis 6:4 also correctly translated as Giants. The Sons of God can be identified as Angels in Job 1:6, their sin identified in Jude 1:6-11.

@CathyFromPensacola Misquoted true but corrected and as far as other facts it is just that "fact". It seems that most acadamia believes the Cornelius in the bible is the famous Roman historian. You can believe what you want you want to believe. Paul even said right now we see dimly as if through a fogged glass. 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

@TheGrace4all Okay, you misquoted which makes me wonder about your other 'facts'. For example, no where in scripture does it say that Cornelius in Acts 10 is the Roman historian Cornelius Tacitus. I haven't looked into this a whole lot but Acts 10:1 says Cornelius was a centurion of the Italian band and he lived in Caesarea which is no where near Rome.

@CathyFromPensacola By the Grace of God in my humble opinion based on the scriptures provided. It seems Satan had a plan to spoil the seed of the woman. the ones who left their first estate according to scripture was part of a plan I think was to spoil or prevent the Christ from coming amongst us. The demons new something about the Christ. Before Christ casted the demons into the pigs they said to the Lord Jesus have you come before the time. I am saying they had fore knowledge of his coming.
