Just looked it up, and the Bet/Elsie fight took place in episode 1,980 - broadcast on 24 March 1980.

I agree - it should have been included on the '80s boxset. Just to let you know, big-hearted Elsie soon forgave Bet for stealing Dan from her. An episode or two after the big row, on leaving the Rovers, Elsie said, much as usual: "Goodnight, Bet!"
Bet said to Betty: "I'll say this for Elsie, she don't hold a grudge!"
