Here's Morgana with her exquisite version of the Cy Coleman & Dorothy Fields song "Where Am I Going?" from the musical production "Sweet Charity".

  • Classic, one of a kind. She kept me through the cold war , looking to the futurre. Without her , I would have given up. She is like no other. She inspired me to go on. What a voice ! She could have sung opera or anything........

  • Interesting, but I prefer the Streisand version.

  • There was a song from "Hair" in late 60's, early 70's entitled "Where Do I Go?", very existential, not this.

  • @DionnesDiscography check out dusty springfield's version from the album of the same name from 1967, the album contains some great soul tracks as well as her 1964 version of 'they long to be close to you' which was held in the can for some reason. check the album out - you won't be disapointed !

    love this version too.

  • I have been a fan of Morgana's since way back when, even before I knew who she was. Her style was so fascinating to me. But, I would be remiss if I didn't mentioned that I was first introduced to this song by Barbra Streisand on one of her early albums, and I thought she did a great job, too. Sometimes, who you first hear do a song is what influences you most. How 'bout "two great singers".

  • Wow. I'm floored. This was simply breathtaking to hear! I'd only known Dionne's version. This is simply magnificant to hear. What a deep rich timbre she has, not to mention such nuance in her interpretation. I'll have to pick up an album by her...er...I mean CD!

  • Love this moving slow version of my theme song. And I echo the suggestion on "I Know How It Feels to Be Lonely". Wonderful.

  • @eastsunrise Not the "Winter of My Discontent," but would you settle for her debut LP from 1956?

  • @bradly2007 Can't agree more! Read my comment below. Also her album "The Winter of My Discontent" is considered a jazz classic yet none of these albums made for United Artists have been released, not even on JAP pressings. Verve should be shot! I cannot find a contact to write to Verve. Any ideas?

  • I agree that I Know How It Feels To Be Lonely is MASTERFUL!!! I was introduced to that album as a little girl and would KILL to have it on my IPod, in my phone...EVERYWHERE!! EVERY track is AMAZING!!! Especially the title track. Ahhhh

    Hugs from Philly....
