Amstel Gold Race 2007

Yeah I know the name of this Pro Tour cycling classic is horrible and should instantly be changed to "Ronde van Limburg", but nevertheless, here is my live report!

I stand at the beautiful climbs of the Vrakelberg and Eyserbosweg and you can see the whole peloton pass from nearby, on a most pleasant Sunday in the South.

maar eyserbosweg is ook chill =) Heb wel nog nooit zown grote groep de eyserbosweg op zien knallen !

Haha ja dat was ook een unicum voor mij. Of het is de nivellering in de wielersport, of ze moeten toch op zoek naar andere moeilijke punten in een route in de laatste 80 km, zoals die lange weg van 6 km vals plat vanaf Wijlre, of de Bergseweg, of vanaf de Eyserbosweg meteen oversteken naar de Keutenberg en de Fromberg hier ff schrappen. Achja, kweetutookniet!

Maar dit was qua kijkspel niet veel soeps, eigenlijk.

Ben jij Spaans Perico, of gewoon Spaanse ouders, want je hebt een erg Limburgs accent :p . Verder een super filmpje, je legt alles mooi vast en je teksten zijn haast inderdaad te vergelijken met Mart Smeets ;)

Ja Mart Smeets is de meester van de finish reportages, al hebben de Belgen meer oog voor details van parcoursen etc.

Not knowing anything about the race I had to look it up. It sounds pretty impressive. Thanks for filming a bit of it for us.

Lance Armstrong was once second here. Most foreigners find it horrible, cause the stretch is like a cakewalk, with many obstacles like parked card, traffic constructions, and you never know in which direction the road goes.

I don't think they mind the climbs that much, but it is a nervous race, and you need to be in front most of the time.

calling it a cakewalk would mean it is very very easy. Still, you are so right, I think its a very interesting/fun race to watch for these reasons

I just hope they can fix it soon because i'm going to be doing lots of filming, starting at the end of this month.
