@MrBullsh1t This style is called a bait casting reel, but I don't see how anyone can cast with such a heavily constructed reel.
I got my pen rod and reel for $1 at a yard sale and still need to put line on it.

@stephen4132 just wind the line on the spool in the other direction and mount it accordingly. It's a very simple reel.
