I have that exact same tv!!! And I tried this while working with my stop motion and it works great, I can look at the tv instead of my little screen on my camera
to hook it up is easy, just get the cord that comes with your camera(if it does) that looks like the kind with a red one a yellow one and a white one to the front(or back) of your t.v.(sometimes it has diferent colors or is missing colors)
