@mosaixify (i wrote day but meant die). You said you were doing fine with DID implying that you wouldn't pursue the road of integration if that was possible. I didn't agree.

@intrusore724689 Eh? I don't understand. Have I said it's not up to the individual? (can't find my previous comments)

@mosaixify it's up to the individual to decide what they want to do before they day. to me mental sanity, seeing thought as thought, unconditioning, disembedding, is more valuable than the so called happiness (that's to throw out out negative stuff).

I, too, feel understood now. I do okay now. It took a lot to get here.

The more I find out, the less appropriate I think it is to have "disorder" as part of the name for this condition. It's typically developed as a coping mechanism when a child is traumatised in some way, especially if it's on a regular basis. As it clearly helps the child to cope at that time in their life, I simply can't see how it's a problem. What I find most disturbing is that nobody picked up on what was happening to this woman as a child. Behavioural issues aren't the only sign of abuse.

I'm sorry, she is full of shit? Why are you even watching this?

@singasongful1 Some of us do just fine and don't find it hell at all :)

there is a book ''MIND IN MANY PIECES'' by Psychiatrist Ralph Allsion. He worked for many years with DID people.. and developed a treatment to regress through hypnoisis and has been very successful with it.. trouble is.. he's in his 80s now.... do you know anyone who knows his treatments? He worked at Domincan Mental Health in Santa Cruz, CA in the 70s...

this is so good to see. i feel like i'm understood now
@singasongful1 Many of us don't see it as an illness but simply a different way of thinking. Many of us have adapted and adjusted fine with personal and public life and it's not scary or confusing.
I can imagine how a singleton or an undiagnosed multiple can find it scary, but most of us do ok.
