A collection of my pictures and videos highlighting record breaking dry conditions in and around Edmonton and central Alberta. With everything from fires to grasshopper plague videos and pictures of dying trees with dry or drying lakes, creeks and rivers, this is a compilation I have put together. I have made this video to try to raise awareness of the devastating effect changing weather patterns/climate zones are having on Alberta and the rest of the world.

  • This winter should be much drier and warmer than normal. Next spring could be much drier and warmer than normal and next summer could be just as dry, but hotter than this one! Hopefully, it will get cooler and wetter by Fall 2010, but there are some indications that we could be in for a few more years of drought and warming after that, or possibly a much longer term permanently warm, dry climate.
