I think everyone's being a bit harsh, yeah it could never compare with The Smiths version(what could?) and DCFC got the lyrics wrong, which I heard they're embarrassed about, but they were very young at the time. I think they just did it from memory because they loved the band. It's still an alright cover, despite the funny lyric changes xD

Do you all realize how fucking stupid you sound getting mad at this? It's a fucking demo from way back when DCFC was a young, inexperienced band just trying to have fun.
