THE HERO firefighter who was killed on Sunday as he helped save over 20 people from a burning tenement was working as a favour to a colleague who had a ticket for T in the Park
Brave Ewan Williamson, 35, from Edinburgh, was covering for a mate and should have been enjoying a day off instead of risking his life as an inferno ripped through an Edinburgh pub.
Over 70 firefighters helped tackle the blaze at the capitals Balmoral Bar, in Dalry, after answering an emergency 999 call at 12.38 on Sunday morning.
The Hastons are responsible for that arson. God only knows how the investigators didn't find the source of the fire. Funny that the Hastons were drowning in debt and wanted OUT during the recession. As if by magic, after they refurbished the entire bar, electrical and all, it passed all the inspections. Then, suddenly, it just "happened" to blaze up.
reopen the investigation.

That is so sad. I have the highest level of respect for Fire Fighters. I live in a country where Fire Fighters are the very people that have made it possible for our way of life to continue.
R.I.P Ewan Williamson and all other Fire Fighters who have shared the same fate.
