  • I remember a year ago one guy in ISSCR'08 reported that hMSC rejected in mice anyway, but not so soon, before they were able to do their job and "treat disease" and then immune system clear them. Maybe sections in this paper were done before chronic rejection occur or maybe because of autoimmune model was used

  • how right you are my friend !! c u at ASH next year ...thanks for watching the vid

there is a paper out that used allogeneic MSC in multiple sclerosis (well EAE)....i dont want to get the viewers bored by going on about EAE in all the videos...but it could be relevant...espeicalliy given osiris may get marketing approval next year

    best wishes

    Tom

  • wow. yet another work of genius. Good job. very clear and well spoken. :)

  • as means to alter the immune system without destroying it

  • there seems to be many papers on stem cell therapy and multiple sclerosis, what is interesting is whether the stem cell therapy that richard burt is doing in the US is actually good for the patients since he is using radiation and chemoatherpy, i would think that this may not be as safe as the stem cell therapies discusse3d here because the ones that stemnow / cellmedicine talks about do not seem to use radiation to destroy the initial immune system. It seems like they are using the stem cells

  • stemnow is the company that treated patients with multiple sclerosis in the publication that talks about fat stem cells and multiple sclerosis.

  • but you are related to some clinical trials, no? thats how you published the paper on the patients with the fat stem cells?

  • i forgot to mention that the way you have put this stemnow together with these videos is very informative and factual

    thank you
