Yes that is what he said. But why did it work? Because of the suggestions in the first sentence & he makes him dissociate from the hand with the "blueness" sentence.

i think he used the pain in the tooth nerve to see who was most susceptible, seeing that it was the guy in the middle who seemed to have the biggest reaction he used him for the needle. they were obviously in a trance since the clap on the table with the "its gone!" made it go away.

then he says "you feel nothing at all, its like youre anesthetized, like the back of your hand there.. its like a blueness in the hand" which seemed to rid him of his kinesthetics on the back of his hand.
