I think Everton had beaten Norwitch at the end of one season that relegated Chelsea - don't know the year (88 maybe?). That is why Chelsea fans wanted to repay the 'debt' to Everton

I remember being at this game (I'm a Cov supporter) and while we had secured guanteed safety 3 or 4 games previous, it was quite surreal watching another team (A very big team) go thru the 'Coventry City experience'. I've absolutely nothing against Everton but it was a little enjoyable watching 90 mins of squirming at Goodison when for once, it didn't involve us.
