Actually, timing and unison issues could all be fixed via mixing.. Singing on time just makes the mixer's life easier =) But youtube is a place of learning as well.. The general rule when critique-ing is 2 good points, and 1 critique. I'm to mix this song with 7 singers soon, so I'm just lurking around to learn what I can for now ^^ I have to say though, you were both generally on pitch, but to make a piece stand out, you gotta be on pitch all the time. adding some style would be good too =)

i thought this was Morning Musume?
On a side note, learn how to sing from your diaphragm rather than your throat and singing with passion and power (with also ties in with confidence that comes from endless hours of practice).

The timing at 4:09 - 4:18 was off and painfully slow. Overall, you need to work on your pronunciation, enunciation, timing, pitch, and being more confident when you sing. It's not about having the high-pitched cute voices of Morning Musume, but having the training and confidence to actually reach those higher notes. (more in another comment)
