@Shirlacombs There is no film of Nijinsky dancing, unfortunately. This is one of several interesting short works by video artist Christian Comte made from existing still photos of Nijinsky. Enticing, fun, but not real. Maybe "Fake" was unfair, but I think the artist did want to "fake out" viewers for at least a moment with the possibility that they were really seeing Nijinsky dance. Would that it were true.

I was once very privileged to watch Stanislav Idzikovski coach
Soloviev and Makarova in Spectre, in London in 1966. I have never forgotten it.

This is a particularly lovely reconstruction because it shows a gentle protectiveness toward the young girl which is unsurpassed. I would rather see eight seconds of pieced together Nijinsky photos than the whole dance performed by anyone else.
