You have to do what you have to do sometimes. Sometimes you do not get full story on call. Sometimes traffic wont move any you got to do what you got to do

@vostock83 did the unit responding know there was no entrapment while this was happening? No, so get there as fast as you can until you know.

All too often do we have a call to respond emergency, without knowing if we're going to be first on scene or not. You say you can tell that this time they didn't need to take too many risks, they could have had no idea there was another unit already on scene.

Wow. That is a response! Like somebody said before. I would want them coming to my house. But wow, I bet after you took care of the car, you had to extinguish the q siren on the truck from being used sooo much. Lol. Awsome video!

its called listening to your radio!!!! I don't understand how certain people can comment here?? The was one unit on scene and the second due has no reason to respond aggresively...Do officers respond to theses calls??? If the person who posted this video is in the engine responding they know the nature of the call...If they don't then there not listening to there radio and should not be on the call in the first place. The men in this engine took it upon themselves to respond in this manner....

All I gotta say is that I would want them coming if I called 911.

That's how you get to a fire

@chechnya Comments from the poster are after the fact... If he knew there was no entrapment or the fire wasn't threatening anything, I'm sure this wouldn't have happened. As for what was going on at the time, they probably have no idea if anyone is inside, if it were threatening or anything. And even though there was a truck on scene, who cares?? Different trucks serve different purposes, maybe they needed both of them. If they didn't, then the first truck on scene should have canceled them.

@joshbuck8 Really? After reading the comments from the poster. Saying there was a car fire with no entrapment, and there was already a truck on scene.
-
what were yall responding to?
LOL to all the comments here talking shit! I have been a cop and a fire fighter. And I have done this many times! You have to do what you have to do! The law says you can dive over the speed limit when responding and inpeed lanes if done so safely. He did not hit anything so there it was all good. Also think if he was rolling to help you or your family. I bet you would not be talking down then.

This particular situation was a car fire, with an engine already on the scene and no entrapment, so the risks taken are not worth it in this case. Sometimes you have to take some risks, not this time.

Powercall is a type of siren. Lots of guys seem so obsessed with sirens and helmets, i wonder when they have time to respond to alarms.
