Before they played back down south Jools showed a video of them doing the show in 2003 playing mollys chambers, his voice was so much stronger back then and seemed like they were really enjoying it,now he looks bored of what he's singing for most of the song(he only really gets into it at the end) its a good song but what i would do for a few more songs like trani or spiral staircase,for me the original beauty of KOL was i would need to listen over and over to understand the lyrics, i miss that.

I like their old stuff too, but musically the new stuff is light years more advanced. The arrangements are much more intricate, the vocals and harmonies are considerably more difficult. As with most bands, they've grown both in their ability on their respective instruments and in their sond writing. I hope they continue to evolve just as many other great bands have done. Clapton seemed to be enjoying what he was hearing and that's good enough for me.

He doesn't get into it until the end because the lyrics are sad and he wants to get to the fire at the end! Fuck everybody who misses the old KOL. Bands make records so go listen to them. I swear people act like these aren't the guys who wroye Trani. Same band. Different kind of music. You have a choice. Don't bring people with open minds down.

@desmond17oreilly caleb gets into it at the end?.... ok dont most songs BUILD to a climax? 2003... 8 years ago... are you the same person you were 8 years ago? you were? oh so you're right KoL SHOULD be making the EXACT same music they did 8 years ago when they were "strong"? i really hate those "theres nothing like the old KOL" comments! in my opinion they where good and still are! they just evolved in their music, found their real taste and are enjoying it! they still have awesome lyrics, guitars, bass lines and drumming! stop the hating and enjoy what KOL works so hard to give us !
