I can't thank enough all of the amazing people in my life that have supported me through my jaw surgery process.
My family, friends, orthodontists, oral surgeon, and everyone here on YouTube helped cushion the experience and kept me smiling even when I was still numb and swollen... =)

im really nervous about this surgery and it frightens me. but to see how positive you were about it makes me feel better thanks for this its really inspiring.

i am miserable just had my surgery yesterday!!!!! upper and lower i can't breath it hurts to swallow and i got a blody nose from hellllll

@sockpuff yeah...i no longer spike my hair up with gel...i keep it down
it makes the underbite less noticeable
the braces just made it worse...

@paperbleble oh my god i'm so sorry that's exactly how i feel too, its horrible having an underbite. just remember theres loads of us with them, you're not alone x

@Bessiesmusic15 Hey, I'm basically at the same stage as you, and I'm having my jaw op in summer 2013, except I had my braces on yesterday. Do they stay painful or do they get better? x

HOLY CRAP!!! You are drop dead gorgeous now!! If you were a celebrity you would be one considered one of the world's prettiest people. I have to get jaw surgery also. I am only 15 but I know I need it because I have a REALLY small jaw. Not even exagerating. My family is really judgemental so can you give me some advice? How did you tell your family?

@lanjore I'm getting my surgery soon, it'll be basically like the one she showed us in the video. Moving the top jaw forward and the bottom jaw back; it's a pretty serious surgery :(
