i have heard this on alot of videos you say to use aspen but to stay away from wood now aspen if the snake digests it it will kill it it even says on the bag and i use beech wood chippings and mine love it it helps with sheding because its rough and its easy to clean up if they poo

um u do know ball pythons do not actually see in shapes and colors as we do....they see heat, liek a heat map, so they cant see color.....and even if that was the case, the color of the mouse does not matter because captive bred ball pythons have been bred for years to eat lab mice that are white...sorry i have to give this a bad review
