I agree that there are many cases of police brutality, and corruption of power which should not be tolerated. However, in this video the man is yielding a weapon at the officers and they used force to subdue him. He's lucky they didn't shoot him, which happens too often. Next time post a video that actually supports the cause, not one that makes us look like criminals.

you guys that are saying they were wrong for hitting him are stupid and do not realize that when a person is going after a cop with a 2x4,that is considered a weapon,he is going to get his ass beat.plus when he falls to the ground,he still tries to hit the officer. And the officer only hit him twice(the first swing was at the board,the other two where to make sure his ass would calm the f**** down).

yes down here in N.O . the military has patrol with N.O.P.D. and they don't play .if they say drop and eat shit . start chewing. they carry m-16 and do use them.
