Very cool. I marched in the '94 & '95 UCLA Drumline. In '97, I took a few friends from my campus church group (they had no music experience what-so-ever) and I taught them some "stomp" moves. They worked hard and nailed it. Wasn't as musical as this, but it was 100% "Stomp" - push brooms and everything. Ranelar thanks for posting, Brings back so many memories. Wish I could find a tape of our performance.... I wonder if Spring Sing has an archive over the years?

Hi Ranelar! Thanks for posting this video!! I was a music major at UCLA and Kenny Wood was my theory TA and I also know Jamie Strowbridge, Nathan, Dan Smith, and other band people through being a major and through Kenny etc. So those guys showed me this video my freshman year (Fall 2004) and I've been waiting since to see it on youtube to show other people! Thanks for posting and you guys on drumline are amazing!! =) Go Bruins!

Only a certain number of people were able to (or wanted to) put in the time to learn the music and drill for the performance. The stage wouldn't really hold the whole line anyway.

and then made a killer recovery. It was raining and cold btw. We were soaked, and our hands were doomed to be stiff.
