"Jesus, Crown of Virgins, conceived of that
mother who alone (of all women) gave birth
as a Virgin, mercifully receive these prayers.
You feed among the lillies, encircled by rings
of dancing virgins, as a bridegroom
resplendent with glory, giving gifts to brides.
Wherever You go, virgins follow, and with
praises run after You, singing, and they make
their sweet hymns resound.
We wholeheartedly beseech You to augment
our senses that they may know absolutely
nothing at all of the wounds of corruption.
Praise, honor, strength, glory be to God the
Father and to the Son, and also to the Holy
Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen."
