Just wanted to see how much gain I could squeeze out of the tweed channel in 10w mode. Recorded with with a SM57, no EQ and no post-mixing, just straight out of the C90 speaker.
Guitar used: Line 6 variax 700 in "special" mode, bridge pickup.

  • You could get way more gain by cranking the channel volume and turning down the output volume (global master), otherwise great tone!

  • I love the Tweed Mode! On my Mark V I had just been staying on Fat/Clean, and then I accidentally switched to tweed and I was blown away. The Mark V is such a versatile amp, my buddy brought over a 1950s supro and I matched the tone pretty much exactly, of course my amp sounded better ;) haha
