Nice.. It's also possible to render what the right eye should see on the left side of the screen, what the left eye should see on the right eye of the screen, then look at it cross-eyed.

You have to rectify color and depth images. There are several free programs to do it. Try Nicolas Burrus Kinect RGB demo

Yes, we are planning to release the software. But first we want to extend the technique to process 3D video. Stay tuned!
