Nice.. It's also possible to render what the right eye should see on the left side of the screen, what the left eye should see on the right eye of the screen, then look at it cross-eyed.

How is that correction of depth field in 1/3 done?

You have to rectify color and depth images. There are several free programs to do it. Try Nicolas Burrus Kinect RGB demo
