This video prototype was storyboarded, shot, edited, and uploaded in 45min as a class exercise in the undergraduate class Introduction to Human Computer Interaction, Winter 2008/2009 with Professor Patrick Baudisch at Hasso Plattner Institute.
About the project:
Composers who are sitting in public transport and have an idea for a new song fail to note it properly, because the environment is too shaky for pen and paper to work efficiently. In this paper we present the NoteCatcher, a small device that allows composers to safe melodies on the go. It uses a gesture-based input technique combined with back-of-device interaction.
