You know, it is pretty bad when we have the American War machine completely bankrolled AND our very own NASA facing a possible shut-down due to, you guessed it, funding. Wake up people, why take NASA down when there's 533 billion dollars to spend on cures and housing people of the world. No, this isn't some pinko commie (although I am a socialist) spewing heartwarming fantasy. This could very well happen.

I believe this video is skewing some facts. Obama's TOTAL military defense budget is slightly greater than Bush's last budget, although Bush had greater ones earlier on in his presidency. What I believe the critics are mostly criticizing, are the cuts in Missile Defense spending at a time when North Korea is really ramping up their nuclear and missile programs, with a deadly combination of a possible ICBM or other long-range missile that could easily be converted to carry a nuclear warhead.

Did you really think they would let go of the system whereby tax dollars are transferred to the bottomless pockets of the military industrial complex? Of course not. Any president trying to butcher that cash cow will wind up with a magic bullet in his head.

Please cite one case where Democrats railed against Rumsfeld for wanting to make the military leaner and meaner.
Rumsfeld said that, and then helped get us into the Iraq debacle, which will end up costing us in excess of $2 trillion. And then he bungled the Iraq adventure, making Vietnam look like a success.
Please stop making things up, Ted. You sound more and more like Fox News every day.
