My wife and I had weight loss surgery 11/26/08. Here is a music montage of pictures of us before, during, and all the way up to 8 months out. We had Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy from Dr. Joya in Mexico. It has been the best thing we have ever done. The proof is in the pictures.

Your children deserve healthy parents who can participate in life with them. What a wonderful gift to both your kids and to yourselves. You guys have worked your sleeve well! You look younger and happier. This is proof that weight loss surgery is not an easy way out. You have obviously put a lot of work into your new lives. Congrats!

It has not been easy. We have put in a lot of hard work to get to where we are. Primarily we did it for our son and not for vanity.

Andy, O my goodness- you and Brooke look amazing. I just got finished watching all your videos and you are an inspiration to all of us. I am planning on having the VSG in the near future. I just sent in my paperwork to Dr. Smith in Marietta, GA. I have learned so much from you and I find myself saying "that is how I feel" or "that is me". If I was ever unsure if I should do this - I can say I am so sure I should do it now after watching your videos. Thank You,Thank You. God Bless you for caring.

I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for your kind comment. I pass by Marietta everyday on my way to work! I wish my insurance would have covered the VSG, but since it didn't I had to go to Mexico. Although I wouldn't go back and change now for anything!

WOW...you both look like teenagers in love. You are both a beautiful couple.
It's so awesome to see how happy you look in all the pictures and knowing you will be on earth a little longer for your son makes all the pain you went through worth it. I am 6 months post-op with Dr Joya thanks to you both! I can now truly understand how looking great tastes better than any piece of food you put in your mouth. Your both success stories. That is so true! Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. There is no way in this world that Dr. Joya will every know how grateful I am to him. He truly is blessed with a gift to change lives!!!
