@mjn76 Obviously you didn't continue to the slower, more melodic section of the piece, which features haunting, operatic vocals....it's not the best example of the genre, but still quite good. I agree, it's not ground-breaking, but until new instruments/mediums are utilised, very little music in history has been. It's not even that heavy. Check out some grindcore, you'll shit your pants. The vocal style is extremely common in many types of music (I assume you're talking about "death-growls")

@samorasquid Yes, I struggle with vocals that imitate a dog being tortured. Yes, I struggle with music that basically sounds the same and isn't remotely ground breaking or innovative.

@mjn76 I can hear all the instruments and intonations quite well. Some quite complex drumming at times. Perhaps this is why you're struggling?
