Leeds Trinity - North Leeds Sports Fair 2009

A recent sports fair at Leeds Trinity & All Saints scored a winner with young people from all over North West Leeds, who came along to have a go at a whole range of different sports.
The Sports Fair on 12 May, organised by the North West Local Sports Alliance in conjunction with Sport Leeds, aimed to showcase what sports activities are available in the North West Leeds area and put young people in touch with sports providers.
Leeds Rhinos hooker Matt Diskin and Chris Taylor from Yorkshire County Cricket Club came along to show their support and encourage people to get involved in sport. Matt said, This is a fantastic event - when I was a lad I played as much sport as I could and I think its important to try a lot of sports to help you develop all kinds of skills."
Representatives from over 35 local clubs and sports providers were impressed at the large turnout and the enthusiasm of the young people present.
