This video shows the cycle for an injection mold made in SolidWorks.
The material which is molded is PA6.
The theoretic minimum cooling time is calculated to 2,238 seconds.
The cooling power is calculated to 3781,9 W
The injection force is set to be 1000 bar
The clamping force is calculated to 317,9 kN.

The injection is simulated with Molfflow xpress from SW Student edition version 2006.

  • You can call it a sliding mold, yes.

    To be precise, it is a two-plate cold-runner mold with slide cores.

  • sorry , what program are u use, cause was i search in solidworks and dont hv simulation for mold

  • that thing looks pretty crazy but it wont last nearly as many cycles that would justify the cost of making that thing. moot point. still looks incredible and you did a fantastic job
