I lost my daughter at age 8 and we found each other again this year..she is now aged 26 and had named her son after me.

There are ten songs on the album Blue; all of them are masterpieces, including Little Green!! She just makes it sound so perfect and intimate, while managing to have an achingly beautiful melody. I am totally in awe of this woman.

Sad song.... For the children who made him... He went away, thinking everythin is warmer there... Write poems but he's not lost to me... There will be flowers to bring to school tomorrow? Subwaycalls? Child with a child pretending... All the lies you are sending home... Sad and sorry but not ashamed... Maybe a little bit. Carry on and look at the northern light.... I have been listening to Joni since 1970. It has been said she wrote this song for the baby she gave up for adoption, she was reunited with her years later. That I know is true because she missed an awards show & the show announced she was being reunited with the daughter she gave up for adoption. I never heard who the father is. Beautiful song, amazing artist.
