  • Its not to slow for that particular church and setting...and yes...the people stand.

  • Nice job seems a little slow though

  • Its usually not customary for the bride to run down the aisle.

  • Just saying, If this sized church has an ALLEN!?!? No wonder the trumpet overpowers the whole thing.

  • i play for weddings and our church has a pretty long asile and i still play it faster than that because u can use a repeat and it is a pretty long song in the first place

  • mother of the bride stands, as is the custom, and all follow.

  • There is such a thing in this world as a "repeat" if needed it to get the bride all the way down the aisle. At this tempo it sounds like a funeral dirge.

  • okay

  • being someone who has played this at weddings, you do have to play it much slower for an aisle this long. You don't want the bride to fall on her face trying to get up there fast enough, nor do you want her to be embarrassed at the awkward silence of her walking after you've finished playing. So it really has to be just right, you time it beforehand to make sure you've got it down...and that tempo was correct for that particular aisle.

  • it doesn't surprise me at all that a big church would have a phony organ. it happens all the time now. no one cares anymore about real pipe organs. and you can hear what you get, can't you. what a racket.

  • yes, they are! uncultured...
