Truly Customizable Linux: NimbleX

Most Linux distributions come preloaded with a handful of software packages that allow you to do certain things such as browse the web and create pretty paintings. However, you have to settle for what the distribution comes with. This means if there is anything there that you don't want, then you need to delete it. This is not the case with the Custom Nimblex CD Generator. As it's name implies, this is a custom Linux distribution website that allows you to, from the ground up, build your own distribution with only the applications YOU want, and nothing you don't. It's very slick. I explain it and take a bit of a tour with it here. If anyone can help me get around this YouTube glitch with iShowU I'd appreciate that, only then will I do more demonstrations where you can actually see what I'm doing. Thanks.

@rml695 lol yeah i tried to get ubuntu ultimate edition (iso is 2.7gb, 10gb after installed) but my ram was too small, the reason why is cuz i have no interent on my computer with linux.

Another tip for customization: NimbleX default (i.e Vanilla) has a modules directory in the ISO.

With a little mount and mkisofs magic, you can add most anything to your NimbleX system from the SlaX repos.
