1st of June 2011: on high tide it is the time to access Lynmouth Harbour.
2nd of June : on low tide, lack of petrol and seamanship may cause havock even on tranquil waters and a sunny day . i.e Stranded and sunken.

  • Clearly the RNLI sunk this catamaran - if they had just left the boat for the tide to come in they could have just sailed away.... Your life in their hands - scary thought eh!!!

    Disgraceful behavior on the RNLI's behalf - I just CANNOT see why they had to intervene at all - Dumb and Dumber at Sea and some poor soul has lost their Catamaran and probably their pride and joy while they appear to have been used as an exercise for the incompetent RNLI men. I am disgusted always give to this charity!
