How do you go about getting the red leds in there? Is it a simple swap from green to red? I have a uniden pc78ltw and was hoping I could just buy the lights and install myself.

@91chevyc1500 no the ltw is surface mount if I remember right two different kind of led's the night hawk can be done because they use bulbs takes about 12 hrs too do the lights its a lot of work. not something I would recommend just anyone doing. the whole face of the radio has too come out then a board behind it has too come out its a bit of work..

@cobra395 i mounted them with screws:p took a while too find the right screws too work but managed too get them good enough:)p keeps it nice and cool now no problems over heating this rig
