  • Thank you for this important message. In a culture that believes if you aren't good enough to sign a record contract then you have no right to open your mouth to sing, we MUST make congregational participation in singing our worship a high priority. We must also help those who are afraid that their singing will "hurt someone's ears" to know that their unique voice is precious to God. Sing for Him and to Him, not for others. He alone is the focus of our praise.

  • @spawnshark1 I know what you mean, but I ask often in prayer for god to give me stronger voice in heaven to please him. Also sometimes I listen to songs like Happy Day and Amazing Love and just jump up and down in excitement. Just show him in your heart.

  • Asking "what if you don't want to sing" is not different to God than asking "what if I don't want to read the Bible?" , or "What if I don't want to pray?" The old man that served the desires of the flesh is to be put to death. If God wants you to sing than you must sing. Clearly, God commands singing in scripture as a part of worship. The Christian should sing not to please anyone but God ...not even our self. We must live to an audience of One.

  • it doesn't matter if you think you sound bad or not....Jesus made you and gave you your voice so He loves it =) thats am awesome truth! =)

  • what if you don't want to sing? I love Jesus and all, but I hate my voice and I don't want to sing.

  • WOW what a wonderful video! Our son sent this to us. He is taking chemo and is a man with a heart of song and praise. We planted a fine pine tree in his yard after his first treatment and called it, "Our joy in the Lord tree," !!!
