Would you have your supplies ready at any given moment if a disaster were to happen?
Here is some people I interviewed to see if they were prepared for an immediate situation.

  • Good idea. This has me thinking to build a small kit for a single day and an emergency pack for longer periods. Flare gun? Honda generator? Humvee?

  • @fazer386

Hahaha! Great idea love the Humvee thought... possibly just stuff it in the closet for emergencies only!

  • Great video, I take care of a guy and we have all these things on him at all times. Plus we keep a supply in the van also. I hang a roll of paper towel on the back of his chair by a bungee cord through it, it hooks on very easy.It tucks in under his back pack. We also have a water bottle holder mounted to his chair where he keeps his Camel Back water bottle. We also have a small first aid kit in his bag and one in the van. Six months of emergency supplies at home.

  • This video is amazing!!! What a great way to share this information. As someone who experienced a week without power and several days without phone service as the result of an outbreak of tornadoes in April, the questions asked were so on target!!! Such an interesting way to get everyone thinking! Thanks!

  • I think this is an amazing information video. This is something I think a lot of people don't think about and should but here we are. At least we can share it with other so they can also pass it on. Thank you for this wonderful video and those who participated in it. Blessings

  • I don't have any injury personally, but this is actually a good idea for anybody because you could get trapped under rubble or something. It would be a very good idea for EVERYBODY to keep a backpack on them of necessities: meal-replacement bars, a couple liters of water, and medications, as well as a charged cell phone!

  • thanks vanessa 4 posting -

  • Thank you Andrew...you have got me thinking now. I will start to carry supplies with me for V too. All the best, Anne

  • Excellent video Andrew. I need to prepare for an emergency at home and in my car. I think it's important that you ask the communiity that uses wheelchairs specifically because a disaster could make it more difficult to navigate to their supplies. It's smart to have some essential supplies on board.

  • Thanx for Vid. I will definitely prepare better. I never thought of this. Usually I just hv 1 cathe w me. A lap belt would also b good in case someone had 2 assist you.
