  • Why everybody critics it because he plays it fast?

Cziffra is a amazing performer, one of the best,he is the best performer of listz, and he deserves respect,he has a very unique way of playing, and you all talk just becasue you are jealous of not being even close to what Cziffra was, totalle amazing 5 stars [sorry for my english,i just speak Spanish]

  • The reason we have music, is to enjoy, play, and change it, which most composers (Especially Liszt) pushed to a pianists maximum , and wanted him to put something from himself. The reason we have interpretations (Of which some people must not know of at all) is for a individual (Pianist or just a person playing as a hobby) to express themselves in their own way, which the composer could not feel.

As one user said, show some respect for one of the best pianists ever.

  • that is called "gnomenreigen", clear?

but the interpretation is very very good

  • Amazing pianist. But the title's spelled wrong. (Gnomenreigen)

  • @FelipeTrujilloBilbao Your english is fine mate.

  • I HATE SLOW INTERNET CONNETION I WANT TO SEE IT

  • Cziffra,Hofmann,Richter,Gilels ,Horowitz and Kapell,the best of the best^^

  • 2:28 ..."Nailed it."

In all seriousness though, from these few video remnants we lucky viewers are blessed by being able to view peerless playing that is likely the most accurate and soulful embodiment of Liszt himself as the world will ever know.

  • He plays fast, but this doesn't take away nothing from expressivity.

  • This makes me dizzy.

  • If you don't think it should be this fast, listen to the way Rachmaninoff plays it.Its about the same.
