Chaz sat down beside me, smiling.
"So you're Mandy's friend?" he asked
"Yeah..." I answered, happily
"Sweet." he replied
"What'd you get for number 5?" Abbie asked, looking at me
"uhh..." I said looking at my paper
Chaz glanced at the page for a split second then looked at Abbie and said, "x is 42"
"Thanks" Abbie said looking back at her work
"Wow.. you're good at math.." I said
"Yeah I mean they recomended me for a senior math class but I denied.." Chaz said
"Wow..."
Cute and smart...? I think this could work.. (;
*-_ Later that day; Justin's POV_-*
I had English which i was never really good at so I decided to ditch and step out for a little bit. I walked out of the side doors of the school and leaned against the brick, shuffling through my pocket. I took out a boag and lit it. I took a big puff and sighed.
"No smoking on school property." A voice hissed
I glanced over to see Mandy sitting at one of the picnic tables about 15 feet away.
"Then you should get off school property, cause you're too hot for the alarms." I winked, walking over to the table.
"Get out of here with that. If I go home smelling like smoke i'm done for." She growled
"ahh it wears off." I said taking another puff and blowing the smoke at her
She coughed a few times and had a disgusted look on her face.
"So what are you doing here? Ditching..?" I asked
"No. I have a free period and technically this isn't leaving school property." She corrected me
"Right..." I replied slowly
We sat in silence as a quickly finished my cigarette and threw it in the grass, stepping on it. I looked up and she had her nose in a book leaning back on the tree behind the table.
"So why do you hate me..?" I asked
She looked up with an: 'Are you kidding' look. "Does the word scum ring a bell?" she asked
"Hey, come on you didn't even get to know me i'm not a bad guy..." I said "I just have a different approach to people is all."
"I'm sure. Look Justin the period ends in 10 minutes and I need to finish this assignment. Can you please go away?" She begged
"On one condition." I smirked
"What?" She snapped
"Hangout with me after school." I said
"Yeah. Like i'd do that." She laughed sarcastically
"Alright then i'll continue to bug you and you don't finish your work." I smiled
She rolled her eyes. "Fine."
"Meet me at my car after 11th period." I replied
"Whatever." She said
I got up and went back into the school and continued to wander the halls... No way was I going to English.
