Not true. If you get out of the car before detonation, you loose no points at all. If you go Jihad and blow up your driver in the attempt, you loose 10 points for the team kill, but gain 10 points for destroying the tank AND 10 points for killing the opperator. Add in another 10 points for each passenger. Blowing up a packed IFV can net you at least 30 points. Even with the -10.

Not even worth it unless that tank was seriously pissing your entire team off for the entire round. You lose more points than you get.
