ZZ Top Long Distance Call-Live cover of classic Muddy Waters tune

Classic tune covered by what has to be THE BEST live rock-n-roll boggie band in history, no one cooks like this any more. Sorry, no video, only have this on audio. Some of the photos I scanned from the World Wide Texas Tour souvenir book, and if you know how Gibbons plays the lick that starts at 5:48, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know, these guys wrote the book as far as I'm concerned. Hope you enjoy it.

Lick at 5:48, assuming standard-tuning and song in the key of C : 1st finger at 12th fret on E-string, 2nd finger 13th fret at B-string, 3rd finger at 15th fret on G-string. Hit G-string, bend it slightly, then hit B&E strings simultaneously. Follow the rhythm! Thanx for uploading!

OK. 5:48 sounds interesting. Could it be B-string , 11 fret and pull off to 9, plus pick up , repeat it fast, like a triplet. Tone knob 1. Jazz sound.

Maybe not? Well I tried.
