NBA's Best - VeoShock's All NBA First Team of 07-08 Season

This is my list for the 07-08 NBA First Team. These guys played their position the best in my opinion and here why.

1. Chris Paul - What more can u say. I think he should have been the NBA MVP easily. But with that said, this guy turn this young Hornets team around. He is a complete point guard. A great ball handler, a superb passer, a solid scorer, a great leader, n a great human being. Just a Fantastic player that made the Hornets into a playoff contender.

2. Kobe Bryant - Kobe was easily the best SG this yr. He help the Lakers to the Finals, was named the NBA MVP, n help the USA to the Gold Medal. Nuff said.

3. Paul Pierce - The most underrated player of this young generation. The guy has it all. I always admired him n felt bad until he was able to show the world that he is an elite player. Pierce guard the Cavs best player in Lebron James. Paul held James to 19% shooting in the first 3-4 gms which is the top 5 worst shooting FG% OF ALL TIME BY ANY NBA PLAYER PERIOD n force Lebron to 30-35% shooting for the rest of the series. He played against Kobe in the Finals n also did a AMAZING JOB GUARDING HIM AS WELL. Beat the Lakers by nearly 40 in the gm 6 clitching Finals win. N amazing Doc River in the end of Cavs vs. Celtics GM 6 stop running the offense through KG(cuz it was horrible-going gm 7 with the Hawks was bad cuz of this) n started through Pierce n from then on the Celtics never went to a gm 7 again throughout the playoffs. He is that good. The Leader n best player on the Celtics team easily n won the Finals MVP as well as the Finals thropy n Finals ring to.

4. Pau Gasol - Easily to me the best PF in the gm this yr n here is why. Pau is the reason the Lakers made it to the Finals. The guy was the only reason the Grizzles even went to the playoffs. He won Gold for Spain already n nearly beat the USA for another gold. So Pau played in the biggest games any Basketball player can play in, in one year. NBA Finals, and the Gold medal gm n was a big reason for his teams being in those gms. N Pau beat Tim Duncan and the Spurs in the playoffs this 07-08 yr(which Pau force Duncan to shoot a low 42% from the field) n Pau also force KG to shoot 42% from the field in the Finals, which KG was frustrated cuz of the fact he wasn't able to score n help the Celtics offensively. Does everything u want a PF to do.

5. Dwight Howard - This young kid is a stud. Hasnt reach his potential, but is a force on the boards, defensive end, n finishing around the rim. Howard was robbed of defensive player of the year in my opinion. Howard avg 12 rbs a gm, 2 blks, n 0.9-1 stl a gm, N KG who shouldnt have won the Defensive player of the year avg KG D stats 1.2 blks, 9 rbs, 1 stl. That was wrong by the NBA. Howard help his team improve n get to the playoffs n won a gold medal but get no DPOY. Help Magic improve n make playoffs. Gave Pistons a run for their money, n won gold with USA. As a great memorable Dunk Contest win of all time.

Those r my top 5 of 07-08 NBA Season.

i definately disagree about pierce over lebron, pierce has 3 allstars in his team including himself and they had veterans( posey, cassell..etc) that know how to win. lebron has a mediocre team that is really inconsistant at times, because they decide to build a team of 3pt/ mid range shooters(Big Z, wally, etc..). they do that to try to run the team around lebron instead of trying to get a 2nd scorer like the lakers did(see how that worked out. the celtics also have a really good coach in rivers

Just cuz u have all stars on ur team doesnt mean u r guarantee to win. Its how u work together n a great leader leads his players like Pierce did. I still dont c how u fail to c that Pierce guarded Lebron n Lebron guarded Pierce n u see who won the matchup. LOL. They even went to a gm 7. Both couldnt win on the road. So that evens it up. N Pierce got the better in the end. Simple as that.

Not Pau....he not really a pf, he is but isn't at the same time....I don't think he has the total offensive package to be on this list, even tho he has the credentials on defense...Dwight offense isn't as good as people think, as I have watched him miss many easy shots, and free throws...ugh...he's big and strong thats why he scores, and defensively he's a beast, but stats aren't everything....pluuuuus, where is Lebron? I think he AT LEAST ties Paul Pierce...Peirce be good, but Lebron is da king
