This is so good. but I'm just wondering if this is a monologue, then why did the mom interrupted it?

One of the most depressing movies ever made.

Living with the Chen family drove Songlian insane. The empty loneliness of being a rich man's concubine and the stress of having to compete with the other wives was eating away at her mind. Witnessing the house servants murder the Third Mistress was the final straw and Songlian went crazy.

At the end of the movie... what sort of mental illness would she be described as having?
