voy a ser sincera....el tango estadounidense nunca va a ser como el argentino porque solo se basan el caminar hacia adelante sin hacer pasos que verdaderamente son de tango..si tanto les gusta traten de bailar el tango como realmente es y no como ustedes lo hacen....

@chamcham212 Excuse me but... Sensuality? seduction? Passion? Love? I was never seduced a fat old hunchback nor a commonly madeup and dressed elderly lady with a big ass, painfully and slowly that drag in a walking track at the sound of a plaintive and sad music. I will be strange but I find it much more attractive and athletic young bodies flying on the track, backs straight, long, that highlight the beauty, flexibility, agility ... but this is personal preference!

Well said. Ballroom Tango clearly derived its inspiration from Argentine Tango, but it went in a very different direction.
I suspect that the source of the harsh remarks from Argentine Tango supporters is that it seems that Ballroom Tango has a larger base of supporters globally, which is a shame because Argentine Tango deserves just as large a following.
In the end, it is "Different strokes for different folks."

International Tango is not supposed to be sexy. Please dance Argentine Tango if you are looking for sexy dances.

Argentine Tango is very different from Ballroom Tango. While they're both dances about passion, ballroom Tango places greater emphasis on the control and staccato rhythm, whereas Argentine Tango, for lack of better description, is "a vertical expression of a horizontal desire." After all, you can only do so much when you're connected to your partner.
