@FlamingAntelope667 If I were you I"d try some easier solos first, like don't cry from GnR for instance, that kind of solos will learn you a lot too! Tell me when you have your first attempt at The Final Countdown recorded, I'm curious!

@bramgauw I have only been playing about 1 and a half years and so far have never even attempted to learn economy picking. I would have to do the solo with alternate picking as well, so I may hold off for a little while before I give it a try.

@FlamingAntelope667 Well, I've been playing for 12 years now but I'm new to economy picking so I'm using alternate picking instead, that's what make's it hard! I think you just have to try, it's the timing that's most difficult in this solo I guess. For how long have you been playing? Good luck!!
