  • Quick follow-up: Ravens D in a vengeance game against Steelers is scaring me with Big Ben playing well, especially with those terrible towels flying.

I'm thinking Raiders at home against the struggling Broncos - even if McGahee is back this week OR Falcons on the road against the always horrible Colts.

Leaning towards Oak, but maybe Balt is going to beat up Pitt on D as usual and I should go with my stud.

    Thoughts?

  • @glny9 Hard to argue with your starters. Even your bench guys have good matchups. I like both Baldwin and Crabtree. Possibly even LT. As for the Defense, if you can start ATL, I would. Baltimore is awesome but I think you're right about it being unpredictable with Pit playing well and wanting redemption from week 1.

  • You've been a fire with your calls!

Newton bye. Do I go Sanchez @ BUF after a bye week or Cassel vs MIA on a short week at home?

FYI-I am choosing between Battle and J Baldwin (both KC) for my flex, so leaning towards Sanchez for diversification.

Rest of starters: Jennings, Green, Manningham (HPPR/15yrds rec=pnt), Sproles, Tolbert (10 rush yrds=pnt), and Graham.

Bench: Crabtree, LT, Barber, and Battle (since I'm leaning towards Jon Baldwin as the next AJ Green). Your thoughts always welcome :-)

  • @glny9 I didn't mean to skip over your QB question. This is a pretty good choice of QBs this week. I am starting Cassell in one league this week. Both should do well. Sanchez has consistently put up 20+ fantasy point games this season (with one glaring exception) and Cassell, despite a great matchup with a horrible Miami team, can be inconsistent with his accurracy. He has missed some wide open guys but I do expect Bowe, Breaston, and Baldwin to be open all day.

  • @MattsGamblingBuddy 7-1 need to stay hot through my bi weeks. Megatron and mjd out this week. Do u like stevie Johnson vs NYJ, or my boy A.J green vs Tenn. And my rbs are bradshaw, hillis, Mcgahee, and battle. Assuming all are healthy. Brees is off next week, I have palmer so we will see if he can destroyed that den. D.

  • @Eaglezchamp I always like Stevie even against the Jets but AJ green is becoming a must-start guy especially with a more favorable matchup. I'd start both if possible.

  • @MatsGamblingBuddy Wow, what a rough weekend for me. Not picking ATL over OAK cost me this weekend. Not that LT over Baldwin would not have also been good. Thanks for your suggestions...I need to start listening more :-)

  • @MatsGamblingBuddy Agreed. Sanchez for the points and Baldwin for whatever upside there is on Cassel this week.

  • @MatsGamblingBuddy Hmmm, I don't trust ATL on the road, even against Indy. I do agree Ravens are too scary, so I'll stick with Raiders at home. Should be a sack fest if Tebow is in the whole game and a pick-fest if Quinn gets the relief. Worse case, Denver will probably score off of picks on Palmer, meaning even less scores from the Bronco offense...or more times to sack and pick the Broncos QB's :-)

  • I got welker at my #2 spot

  • nice review man...keep up the good work
