  • art has not levels nor quality!

  • While I get the message, some of those places DID look like they were being used by the public. From the looks of things, there were posters for public events and things like bands trying to get known. Maybe if they made a point to only remove big corporation ads?

  • cool artwork, i love free expression like this :D

  • who the f••k could not like this?

either aberrant capitalists or merely ignorants, i guess.

  • Plain & simple, If I was a permit holder of construction fence/barricade and ‘MY Fence/Property’ was altered via anyone tampering with it, in usage of tools aka, paint brushes or rollers, and public got hurt after the fact of tampering, via any reason, I will bring all the whitewashers as individuals into a law-suite as co-defendants, in adhesion for tampering with something they had no rights to touch, which wont be frivolous litigation and my lawyers will earn their money.

  • @Jonte135 You are crap.

  • It really would be nice if it would be replaced. I mean, lets face it, those types of ads look ugly.

  • It's you hipsters that are destroying the fabric of nyc.

  • advertisement is offensive and doing it illegally is worse.

He says what the intent of this mission is, which is to take back public spaces that are being used for private and commercial gain.
