Powder Alarm: Enjoying the fresh snow in Barèges - Grand Tourmalet: Lienz [HD]

Fresh snow, still coming down on Monday 28 Feb 2011. Our first ski day at Petit Barzun this holiday. The best visibility is at the forest of Lienz, which is the lower part of the Grand Tourmalet ski resort. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the black forest run.

Nice video! What colour runs were you skiing on?

@tidyaron Thx! The first part of the first run used to be black. It is now no longer marked as an official run, as it joins the red run for most of the way down. The second time I turned right at the top of the drag lift to a black run. It is not the steepest in the area, but it is either rough snow (like in this video) or full of moguls.

These runs are really nice during snow as they are in the middle of the forest. This gives you just enough shadows to see where you are skiing.

Cool thanks for the reply! i don't quite think i'm a black run skiier yet, we are heading down next weekend so i want it to snow more!
