This is a video of a 2008 AQHA Sorrel Gelding I am currently training as a futurity prospect. He is out of Good Subsidy, who has over 100 Western Pleasure Points. Good Subsidy has a Superior Open WP, Superior Amateur WP, Tom Powers Top 5, QH Congress Top 10. Good Subsidy is standing as a stud at DK Quarter Horses. This video shows his 13th ride. In this video, you will see that after a few exercises, I allow him to pick up the pace, which he loved. I think it is important as you train to be versatile, try out some reining, trail riding, etc, as the young colts/fillies can easily become bored, burned out, or frustrated.
